In the fall of 1975, I was hired to teach special education in Mountain Lake Public Schools where I met my husband, Wade, who had recently been hired as the chemistry/physics teacher. We have 2 daughters--Janice (special education teacher) and Julie (speech/language pathologist). We enjoy spending time with our 7 grandchildren, biking, walking, and exploring the U.S. Since retiring, I volunteer at the local thrift shop and Heritage Village and spend more time quilting and reading. | |
