Comment:
I retired in July of 2020. After graduating from the Air Force Academy, where I was also on the hockey team, my Air Force career consisted primarily of flying in the B-52 and as a physics professor at the Academy. After retiring from the Air Force in 1996 I taught high school math, chemistry, and physics for 6 years. In 2002 I returned to the Academy and taught chemistry and physics at the academy's prep school until 2020. I voluntarily returned to acitve duty in 2010 and rejoined the Academy physics department until I "retired" from the Air Force a second time in 2012. From 2010 to 2020 I was also on the Air Force hockey team staff and had a blast traveling with the team, skating at practices and running the line changes during games. In those 10 years we went to the NCAA tournament 4 times, and to the Elite 8 twice. Though retired I'm still on the staff as a volunteeer and tutor the players during the school year.
My wife, Holly, is an avid hiker and through her I caught the bug. In the summer of 2019 I climbed Kilimanjaro with my son. In August of 2020 I hiked the Colorado Trail with a few friends. It's a 500-mile trail with a majority running between 11,000' to 13,000'. We were on the trail for 6 weeks. In the summer of 2021 my Colorado Trail friends did a shorter, 85 mile hike.
Colorado is a vacation destination for many people and I am blessed to live here. If you are ever my way please don't hesitate to stop by and say hi.

Have had some great times since graduation, teaching 37 years in the Minneapolis Public School and District 287 where I met some of the best people, both staff and students.  Retired 10 years ago and moved to Gold Beach, on the southern coast of Oregon and worked in the fight against human trafficking and child abuse, helped to add an education building to the library there, and produced TV programs for the local station.  Came back to Minnesota to help raise my only grandson and substitute teach in the Farmington schools.  Active in my church, Eagle Brook, of the Lakeville Campus (soon to be Apple Valley campus...in the old Menard's).  Truly been a wonderful thing to reunite with some of you this past weekend!  Special thanks to the organizers who went to all the work of putting it together and Hilary Bearman who made my weekend!

Hello one and all!
I got a math degree (anyone surprised?) at Hamline University.  Dabbled in a varity of technical jobs and ended up as a math teacher in Eden Prairie. Hubby and I adopted two kids from Russia and made ourselves into a family.
We have a cabin in northern Minnesota that we built and truly love. Travel is our other passion.
Looking forward to the reunion.
