Corniea, Susan E. Age 64, of Mpls., passed away June 18, 2018 surrounded by family. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Jim Corniea. Susan was born in Mpls. to Ellabelle (Winburn) & Thomas A. Corniea on July 14, 1953. She graduated from St. Louis Park High School and then traveled across the United States, settling in California. There she graduated from Fullerton College with her A.A. and Landscape - Horticulture Technician Certificate. Susan was a California Certified Nurseryman and enjoyed working with plants both at work and home. She moved back to Minnesota in 1983 to raise her children. Susan enjoyed cooking, improv classes and volunteering through People Serving People and Little Brothers. Survived by sons, Andrew (Kali) Corniea and Casey Corniea; grandchildren, Aiden & Christopher Corniea; brother Mike (Anne) Corniea; sister-in-law Barb (Jim) O'Leary; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Susan's family will be hosting a luncheon to share our best memories.
