Johnson, Diana Lynn (Chapel) Beloved Mother, Sister, Grandma and Friend Diana Lynn (Chapel) Johnson, Age 68, of Walker, MN lost her hard fought battle with cancer on Friday, July 23rd, 2021 in Chisago City, MN. Diane was born January 12th, 1953 to parents Richard and Dolores Chapel. Diane spent the majority of her life in St. Louis Park, Minneapolis, Brooklyn Park and eventually found her little piece of heaven in the woods outside of Walker, MN. She had a career that she loved at the StarTribune where she worked for 20+ years. After that ended, she moved up north and made a new life for herself working in Hackensack where she met many wonderful people and made many friends. Diane is survived by her son Chad (Jessica) Johnson; daughter Robyn Johnson; brother Allen Chapel, stepsister Cheryl Olson; grandchildren: Kayla, Jocilyn, Maddie, Ariah, Ethan, Arianna, Samantha, Luca, Makenna, Jake and Madeline; Life-long best friend Shelly Madison, and countless friends who are family. She is preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Richard Jeffers, stepbrother Scott Jeffers and great granddaughter Sophia Lynn. Diane was such a light. Life wasn't always easy but she laughed anyway. She loved classic rock, dancing, a good party, the cabin, her family and her friends. Her strength was an inspiration and her smile lit up the room.
