Day, Steven M. 52, of Chaska, died suddenly at home Friday, Feb. 03, 2006. An "Extrusion Guru" with Pillsbury, he was an avid fisherman, enjoyed tinkering with automobiles, and loved his dogs. A former jet mechanic, he served for nine years in the US Navy. Preceded in death by his parents, Lorraine and Ira. Survived by sister, Linda DeMonte; brother, Michael D. Day (Marie); fond uncle of Christopher, Matthew, Colin and Elise; and many friends and co-workers. Memorial service will be 7 PM Thursday at Gearty-Delmore Park Chapel, Wooddale at Excelsior Blvd, St. Louis Park. Gathering beginning at 6:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to donor's favorite charity.
