Sherri Silesky

Sherri Silesky passed away on January 25, 2016, at her home in Mountlake Terrace, WA. Survived by her brother Jeff Silesky, sister Tami Rogers, sister-in-law Francine Gaillour, brother-in-law Mark Rogers, nephew Ben Silesky and nieces Elena Silesky, Molly Dubow & Samantha Dubow. A native of Minneapolis, Sherri moved to the Seattle area in 1985. Sherri's life was a wonderful gift to both her family and many friends. Although stricken with a life long genetic disease, Sherri demonstrated to all tremendous strength and power of spirit, often sprinkled with a wonderful sense of humor. Sherri shared her many insights both through conversation and her writings on her blog, providing comfort and support to many others who suffer from Neurofibromatosis and chronic pain. Funeral services will be held at Bikur Cholim Cemetery, 1340 N 115th St. Seattle, just West of NW Hospital, beginning at 11:00 AM Thursday January 28th. Sherri will be missed by so many who knew and loved her.
